How do

therapists for grief

help with loss?

Grief is a natural response to the death of a loved one, as well as other types of loss or change, such as:

  • Loss of a friendship or friend group

  • Moving to a new home

  • Loss of home as a result of natural disaster

  • End of a romantic relationship

  • The future you envisioned, perhaps due to war, political/economic instability, and/or climate change

Individual Therapy for Grief

It is a privilege and an honor to work with people who are grieving. I find it to be one of the most intimate and tender experiences to hold space for the emotions that accompany grief, and to help clients process it in a way that opens the possibility to feel relief, warmth, love, and even joy.

We are not meant to grieve alone. Sharing our sorrow in a safe communal space can help the healing process tremendously. Please visit the support group page or contact me directly to inquire about upcoming Grief Support events or series.
